Highly recommend Taco Chelo in Tempe. The service is amazing, Grace was so friendly and attentive. The fish tacos were our favorite, but everything we ordered was delicious. They gave the cutest vibe and aesthetic.
My FIRST time here. They will see me the next 2 weeks! These pictures are about 7 minutes apart, I could have ate the plate ????. I have no complaints, quality drinks and food. I would drive in a dust storm for this place !!!
Great place for a quick, affordable, quality bite to eat! I had the shrimp crispy tacos and a Horchata. Service was fast and smooth. I’d eat here again and recommend it to friends!
Try their Sonoran Tacos!! They literally reminded me of a taqueria we used to go to when we would travel south of the border. The tortas were also amazing and taste homemade! ???????? I loved their micheladas as well!! It is a little crowded for a family of 6 but they have outside seating . Will definitely be coming back for happy hour ????
Best. Fish. Tacos. In. The. State. There other tacos are also amazing, but that one is the best. They have a wonderful atmosphere. Theres not too much inside seating, but plenty outside. Their sound level is a bit loud, but not too bad, for those with sensativities.
Ate here for lunch. Started off with the chips - the salsas were delicious! My friend and I both ordered a Costra taco and a Sonoran taco. BEST TACOS we’ve ever had. The carne asada was perfectly tender with delicious flavor and the crispy cheese on the Costra was so flavorful. Maria at the bar provided friendly and attentive service, and the atmosphere was nice, too. Can’t wait to bring my family here.
Went to this place after my first choice was too busy. Glad I came here! It was realllyyyy good! Got fish tacos & the costra taco! Spicy marg & a mango one! Can’t wait to come back for more tacos!! The chicharones were kind of stale so I probably wouldn’t order those again. But everything else, I will come back for! You order at the counter and it’s open seating from there, i doors or patio. There’s nice misters and music on the patio as well.
Everything that we tried was outstanding! Especially the 'Flamingo'! The Flamingo is a charred pepper, wrapped in cheese, wrapped in a flour tortilla (then deep fried), with lettuce, Guacamole salsa, sour cream, pico...and is truly amazing! Being raised on mexican food in San Diego...it was a very special dish. And turn a dud night into a good night, as we traveled here to see ELO and at the last minute postponed their concert...boooo...extremely poor form ELO. But definitely the bright side Taco Chelo. If you like mexican food at all, this place is a must!
Came here after work with a couple of coworkers, it's a very small space. We were able to find seating at the bar. The asada taco was tasty and hit the spot. My coworkers said the drinks were very good. I would definitely visit again.
